Helping Them Become Legendary: Helping Your Students Get Out of Their Own Way
After dozens of interviews and focus groups with young adults, we found that many aren’t pessimistic, but many have difficulty dealing with uncertainty in their life. As a result, they are less optimistic about their future. This session connects mental health, goal setting, and life planning, and provides the tools and technique you need to help your students to get out of their own way as they discover, develop and define their passion in school, work and life.

Becoming Part of their Algorithm: Understanding Social Media Storytelling
What happens when you have the best stories to tell and photos to share, but no one sees the social media posts? Gain a clear understanding of how social media works to share stories that build an engaged community and reach students where they spend nearly 5 hours a day. In this session, social media terms like “algorithm” will become less scary and you will gain an understanding of why some posts go do well and others aren’t even seen, giving you the tools to make your school communities and their stories go viral.

2:30-3:25 p.m. Session 3, featuring Tim Stafford
Wildest Dreams: "Writing Our Future Story"
Relationship building is the key to effective work with students. How do we create those relationships? Pull up a seat, I have a story to tell. Through storytelling, we are able to understand others and be understood ourselves. Appreciating those stories and valuing them empower us to write our individual and collective future stories. In this session, you will learn the storytelling techniques that help you win over students in the classrooms and inspire them write their futures of endless possibilities.
